ADHERE BONDS - BITUPROOF

Adhere Bonds Bituproof is a rubber modified bitumen emulsion. Once dried, it forms a black flexible protective film which is a tough barrier to vapor transmission.

  • - Solvent-free and non-inflammable.
  • - Resistant to acids, chlorides, and sulfates.
  • - Resistant to saline water.
  • - Accommodates thermal expansion and contraction.
  • - Forms continuous film without cracks or holes.
  • - A Damp-proof membrane for below-ground concrete structures above the water table.
  • - Moisture vapor barrier on concrete surfaces before cladding.
  • - Allow 6-8 hours time for the first coat to dry.
  • - Second coat must be applied in the direction perpendicular to the first coat at the same coverage rate.
  • - Further coats may be applied in the same manner to attain any required or specified thickness of the dry film coating.
  • - A Damp-proof membrane for below-ground concrete structures above the water table.
  • - Moisture vapor barrier on concrete surfaces before cladding.
  • - Density: 1.0 ± 0.05 gm/cc
  • - Solid Content: Minimum 45%
  • - Drying Time (25°C, 60% RH): < 24 hours
  • - Service Temperature: -5°C to 75°C
  • - Elongation at Break: 200%
  • - Recoat Time: Minimum 8 hours
  • - Flammability & Toxicity: Nil
  • - DFT Thickness at 45 sq.ft/kg: 125 microns
